Gábor Bárdfálvi

The big "G" comes from Hungary, Szeged to be exact but he was raised up down in Pecs (Fünfkirchen in German). The bands he worked with down in Hungary were Riverside and The River Band. 

Wherever Gábor goes in Europe and most recently in Arizona, USA, his right hand technique "slaps" up quite a stir. His bass is a constant project, fixing little splits in the wood, readjusting the bridge and pickup. The instrument spends lots of time in the back of the bandbus, exposed to heat and cold and flying amplifiers. But like the player, Gábor's bass survives!
